I bought all three of these WonderBuddy musical books; Let’s Sing to Sleep, Let’s Sing for Our Gods and Let’s Sing and Learn and they have been such a wonderful addition to our home library. My little one absolutely loves them!
What I particularly love is that these aren’t just books that you read to your child. They allow children to read, listen and sing along, making story/rhyme time much more interactive and engaging. The feather-touch buttons are perfect for little hands, and my child loves being able to operate the books independently.
Let’s Sing to Sleep has 12 gentle lullabies and has become such a lovely part of our bedtime routine. The songs are soothing and calming, and the two volume levels make it easy to keep things soft and peaceful at bedtime.
Let’s Sing and Learn has 12 early-learning rhymes and is fantastic for introducing rhymes, repetition, listening and new vocabulary in a very natural way. My little one keeps coming back to this one and loves singing along.
And Let’s Sing for Our Gods is probably my favourite of the three. Having 30 mantras, aartis, shlokas and bhajans in a beautiful, child-friendly musical book is such a lovely way to introduce children to our prayers and traditions. My child genuinely enjoys listening and joining in, which makes it feel like something joyful rather than something being “taught”.
All three are rechargeable, which I really appreciate because there is no constant battery changing, and they have two volume levels. The illustrations are beautiful and inviting, and the books feel sturdy enough for little hands.
As a parent who loves books and wants to keep our home as screen-free as possible, I especially appreciate having audio experiences within an actual physical book. My child can choose a book, press the button, listen, sing along and explore independently.
We’ve tried quite a few audio/musical books, and honestly, these are among the best we’ve found. They have quickly become some of my child’s favourites, and I can see us using them for years.
